CorrosionX XD penetrates existing rust and corrosion, displaces moisture and prevents electrolysis. It leaves a non-hardening, self-healing coating for maximum protection against moisture intrusion, while providing outstanding, long-lasting lubrication for all moving parts. Performs on already wet and corroded surfaces as well.</p>
<p>Being thinner than <a title="CorrosionX Heavy Duty" href="https://www.corrosion-x.co.uk/product/corrosionx-hd/">CorrosionX® Heavy Duty</a>, XD can be easily atomized. As a medium-build film, CorrosionX Extended Duty does not accumulate dust and dirt like grease does.</p>
<p>CorrosionX XD contains no wax, tar or silicone, and unlike wax coatings, will not dry, harden or crack under stress. Safe on point, glass, gelcoat, wiring insulation, most rubber, plastics and electronics.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="style15" align="left"><strong>Max Wax</strong> is a tough, synthetic wax-based, resilient corrosion inhibitor barrier coating that provides long-term protection for metal surfaces. It forms a smooth, even coating for maximum protection even in the harshest environments and underwater.</p>
<p class="style15" align="left"><strong>Max Wax</strong> dries faster than other wax-based corrosion inhibitors and it will not harden, crack or lose resiliency even in sub-zero temperatures, and it can withstand temperatures exceeding 200 C / 392 F. Its ultra-thin viscosity allows penetration between and around close fitting components to prevent moisture, gasses or chemicals from causing rust or corrosion. Product is acid resistent.</p>
<h2 class="style15" align="left">Max Wax Vapour Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI)</h2>
<p class="style15" align="left"><strong>Max Wax</strong> emits a time-release Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI) for added benefit when applied in confined areas. The VCI forms and invisible coating that protects items not covered by the wax, such as tools in a toolbox, engines in an engine compartment, or electrical switches and components in an electrical box or cabinet</p>

<b>Problem:</b> It operates a 26&#8242; boat transported on a tandem-axle trailer. Both boat and trailer are in and out of saltwater on a daily basis, resulting in severe rust and corrosion of the trailer. Problems with electrical systems were common as saltwater attacked terminals and connections.<br />
<b>Solution:</b> CorrosionX Heavy Duty was applied to springs, electrical connections, winch and other areas on the trailer susceptible to corrosion.<br />
<b>Results:</b> Mr. Robert Sherman, owner of the company, wrote: <i>&#8220;CorrosionX Heavy Duty was applied about two months ago and, as of this date, the barrier coat is still visible and apparently stopping further saltwater corrosion. A welcomed side benefit is the lubricating property &#8211; the trailer springs no longer squeak.&#8221;</i><br />
